AS Paljassaare Kalatööstus was founded in 1990.

The main occupation of the company is producing and selling fish products, 90% of the output is exported.

Production capacity of the company is 14,000 tons per year. The company has around 400 workers.

Paljassaare Fish-processing Industry Ltd is recognized by the European Union, in 1996 HACCP was introduced,ISO 9001:2000 was implemented at March 2003.

In addition to this, AS Paljassaare Kalatööstus has received a BRC Global Standard – Food Issue 4 January 2005 certificate of conformity, Level AB and a certificate of conformity of Prepackage conformity assessment and actual contents assurance system.

Paljassaaare Fish-processing Industry Ltd belongs to the Viciunai Group since June 2001.
